AIMS AND OBJECTS
 
The aims and objectives for which the society is formed are :-
 
(a) To promote knowledge of fine arts, science etc.
 
(b) To serve the educational needs of the public in the matter of literature, industry, science, economics, philosophy,
     politics, commerce and all other branches of knowledge.
 
(c) To establish colleges and other educational institutions for the attainment of all or any one of the above objects.
 
 
(d) To take existing institutions under its control.
 
(e) To undertake and facilitate research in all branches of knowledge.
 
(f) To institute scholarship and prizes or to make grants to educational
     institutions.
 
(g) To carry on experiments with a view to improve methods of
   imparting education;
 
(h) To co-operate with approved educational institutions.
 
(i) To raise funds for the attainment of all or any one of the aims and
     objects, and
 
(j) To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any one of the above aims and objects.
