AIMS AND OBJECTS
|
| |
| The
aims and objectives for which the society is formed are :- |
| |
| (a)
To promote knowledge of fine arts, science etc. |
| |
| (b)
To serve the educational needs of the public in the matter of
literature, industry, science, economics, philosophy, |
| politics,
commerce and all other branches of knowledge. |
| |
| (c)
To establish colleges and other educational institutions for
the attainment of all or any one of the above objects. |
| |
| (d)
To take existing institutions under its control. |
| |
| (e)
To undertake and facilitate research in all branches
of knowledge. |
| |
| (f)
To institute scholarship and prizes or to make grants
to educational |
| institutions. |
| |
| (g)
To carry on experiments with a view to improve methods
of |
| imparting
education; |
| |
| (h)
To co-operate with approved educational institutions. |
| |
| (i)
To raise funds for the attainment of all or any
one of the aims and |
| objects,
and |
| |
|
|
| (j)
To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to
the attainment of all or any one of the above aims and
objects. |
